Gas prices at my neighbourhood gas station are exactly the same this week as last—$1.479/litre.

I suppose you want me to figure out how much that is per gallon in US dollars, right? That’s $5.64 Canadian for 3.89 litres or 1 US gallon, and the currency is pretty close to par—$1 Canadian is worth $0.9932, which makes the price of 1US gallon of gasoline at my local Fas Gas cost around $5.60 US.*

Dorothy  has already posted the price of gasoline in Crystal Lake, IL.

Now it’s your turn to let us know where you’re from and what you pay for gas.

*I did not check my work, so feel free to correct it.

Candy says that a gas station close to her is charging $4.06/gallon and she is praying for a Vespa.

threegirldad comments from Kansas, where they seem to have the cheapest gas in North America. If only they had a mountain or two and no tornadoes, it’d be the perfect place to live.

$3.76 and still inching downward…
