These are a few links on the Trinity that came across my feed reader recently.

Defining
I linked to this piece previously in my theological term post on the Trinity, but it was reposted recently at the Alpha & Omega Ministries Apologetics Blog: A Brief Definition of the Trinity (James White).

And here’s an excellent short video of Kevin DeYoung defining and explaining the Trinity for the New City Catechism:

Working
It’s another post from James White, this time explaining how our eternal security is based on the tri-unity of God.

Once we rest ourselves in God’s provision of salvation …we see that our position in Him is one that is based upon the sovereign act of the Father in giving us to the Son, and in the eternal obedience of the Son to the Father in effecting our salvation! Can we possibly picture a more secure situation than this? I think not! But wait, there is more…

Read the whole post for a discussion of the role of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in keeping us secure (Alpha & Omega Ministries Apologetics Blog).

Then from Aaron Armstrong at Blogging Theologically, a collection of scripture passages that show the Trinity working in our salvation: “Without the Father, Son and Holy Spirit working together, none of it is possible—not our justification, our sanctification, our adoption, nor our final glorification.”
