“As for me, I have set my Kingon Zion, my holy hill.”I will tell of the decree:The LORD said to me, “You are my Son;today I have begotten you.Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of ironand dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
…and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.
And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,
“Great and amazing are your deeds,
O Lord God the Almighty!
Just and true are your ways,
O King of the nations!
Who will not fear, O Lord,
and glorify your name?
For you alone are holy.
All nations will come
and worship you,
for your righteous acts have been revealed.”
(Revelation 15:3-4 ESV)
