It’s been another interrupted day for me. Two sets of unexpected visitors, for whom I am thankful.
I’m thankful for clear blue winter skies and fresh white snow. I’m thankful for increasing daylight and weather that’s not too cold. (It’s always a good day in the Yukon when half of North America is colder than we are.)
I’m thankful for dog walks in the woods in the winter sunshine. I’m thankful for this pleasant way to get the daily exercise I need.
I’m thankful for the seasons of the year and the seasons of life.
I’m thankful for the intercession of the Holy Spirit when we don’t know what to pray for. I’m thankful that Jesus intercedes for us, too, and that through him we can come boldly to God’s throne.
I’m thankful that we are nearly through another January.
