Round the Sphere Again

Pointed Fun

March Madness

  • At Logos Bible Software, where they have 64 titles competing for a shot at a 75% off discount code. I voted. Have you?

Your Cheatin’ Mind

  • A Ted Talk by behavioral economist Dan Ariely. The lead-in says it’s about bugs in our moral code—how we’re predictably irrational. I’d say it’s more about how we rationalize immoral behaviour. (Did you know that athiests don’t cheat if they are asked to swear on a Bible?

Who Gets the Book?

The promised free copy of Voddie Baucham’s What He Must Be  goes to Candy, who has 6 unmarried children in her family. She says she also teaches pre-teens, so she’s a lady who can put this book to good use.

I’ll get that out to her as soon as I receive the copy that’s on its way from Crossway Books. And as soon as she gives me her mailing address.

Round the Sphere Again

I’m resurrecting the old Round the Sphere posts I used to do. I got sick of the additional clutter to my page from the links in the Recommended section in the sidebar and decided to remove it.

Instead of collecting links for a whole week (That’s the way I used to do it.), I’ll be posting whenever I have a few interesting links collected. I’m guessing this will happen two or three times a week. This change should make those of you who complained about not being able to comment on the links in the sidebar happy, too.

Yep. Less clutter; more comments. It’s all good.

What’s up in this first go-round?
