What special things are we to consider in the ten commandments?

We are to consider, in the ten commandments, the preface, the substance of the commandments themselves, and several reasons annexed to some of them, the more to enforce them.

[For your information: There are parts of this catechism that I don’t completely agree with. I lean more towards  New Covenant Theology than Covenant Theology and that difference shows up especially in this section on the law.]
