Being Thankful on November 6

I’m thankful that I now have my own sewing room and my own office. I’m turning the bedroom that belonged to the girls into a guest bedroom/sewing room, and the room that was oldest son’s office is now my office. I set up the office a couple of weeks ago and I’m moving the sewing stuff in and organizing it this week. I’m already enjoying the office and I look forward to enjoying the sewing room.
- Connie is thankful for two teenage daughters.
- Suzanne is thankful for God’ peace.
- Tulipgirl is thankful for snuggly boys and more.
- Juanita is thankful for her library system.
Updates
- Julana is thankful for southern exposure in the family room, a pediatric dentist who welcomes children with special needs, dental insurance, my grandmother’s African violets blooming, friends made through blogging.
- Dorothy is thankful for “for cheap phone rates and the internet.” But most of all she is thankful for her sister Mary.
- Kim of Hiraeth is thankful for the book of Hebrews and many other things.
- Dawn is thankful for unusually beautiful weather.
- Liz is thankful for God’s protection—and she has a story that shows that God is protecting.
- Willow is thankful for a beautiful place and a sweet little boy.
- Susie is thankful for God’s grace and mercy and her husband and children.
What are you thankful for?
I’m celebrating good gifts from God during the month of November and hoping you’ll be thankful for your good gifts, too. Here’s how you can join in the thanksgiving and even, perhaps, get something material from it.
(Today I’ve put the thanksgiving post up a little earlier than usual because I will be gone this evening. If you put up a post for today, will you let me know by email so I’ll be able to just check my mail and add your post to the list when I get home?)
