Sunday Hymn: I Must Tell Jesus

I must tell Jesus all of my trials;
I cannot bear these burdens alone;
In my distress He kindly will help me;
He ever loves and cares for His own.

Refrain

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

Tempted and tried, I need a great Savior;
One who can help my burdens to bear;
I must tell Jesus, I must tell Jesus;
He all my cares and sorrows will share.

O how the world to evil allures me!
O how my heart is tempted to sin!
I must tell Jesus, and He will help me
Over the world the victory to win.

Fulfilling Our Ultimate Purpose

In genuine corporate worship, we delight in God together. As a body, we gaze upon his beauty (Psalm 27:4). We may enjoy the music, the sermon, the others who join us in worship, but primarily, we enjoy seeing and knowing God as his gathered church.

This month, everything at Out of the Ordinary is about worship. I posted there this morning.

Linked Together: Recommended for Listening

Yes, one is actually a video, but it’s a video I only listened to.

Vocation
Wayne Grudem on A Theology of Work/Vocation. (I was especially interested in what Grudem says about running a business. A lot of what I’ve read/heard/watched on the doctrine of vocation seems more applicable to people who are employees. This presentation would be especially useful for a small business owner.

Apologetics
I just began listening to this series of lectures by Prof. James Anderson on Worldview Apologetics (Triablogue).
