What is the duty which God requireth of man

The duty which God requireth of man, is obedience to his revealed will.[1]
- Rom. 12:1-2
I appeal to you therefore, brothers,by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world,but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Micah 6:8He has told you, O man, what is good;
I Sam. 15:22
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?And Samuel said,
“Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,
as in obeying the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
and to listen than the fat of rams.
