The Good Portion: Godexplores what Scripture teaches about God in hopes that readers will see his perfection, worth, magnificence, and beauty as they study his triune nature, infinite attributes, and wondrous works.
Hmmm. It looks like a shoelace hanger. In case my mail gets caught in your spam filter - there's somethig for you on my blog today. Back to the mystery object... It might be a pygmy radar antennae.very useful those. Or a folder binder thingummy.
(Now that I've typed that it seems like a stupid question because if it is not a puzzle then I don't know what it is in which case it is a puzzle but of a different sort. So, either way, it's a puzzle. My question seems stupid. Still, I'm wanting to know the answer. Is it?)
Well, the picture wouldn't load for me yesterday so I'm late to the guessing game.
I know what that is! It's the thing you brought out when the kids were little & acting unruly and you held it up for them to see as you said "do not make me use this today..."
okay now Carla...that made me laugh! As to what that "thing" is... I see it and think...I know what that is...but for the life of me...my knowing hasn't caught up with my actually saying so... well... what can I say..maybe I just don't know. :) I think...loom. has to do with a loom...but hey... I just have no clue!
The mind boggles as to how you would use this on a child! Carla, that is plain scary - but incredibly funny, if you're joking! Please tell me you wouldn't use this on a child! I think I'll have bad dreams tonight...

No, no, and no. But it does look like a little ring binderish, I must admit.
I'm very curious to see if anyone will recognize this.
Thanks for the award. I'm flattered. I'll be posting mine as soon as I can.
I have no clue! But it looks cool!
something to hang fish from.
Is it a puzzle?

My daughter guesses that it's some type of knitting form. I'm totally clueless, myself.

It is part of a corset.
I know what it is. But it would be wrong to let you all know. I can say that the first time took an hour and the second about 7 minutes.
What a lot of guesses!
MissM is right, and I'm very impressed. The challenge is to remove the long sliding thing (that's a technical term) from the rings.
It was made by my husband, and that makes it "favorite", although it's scores cool points on its own.
Carla wins the prize for most creative guess. It looks rather scary, so you could use it that way, too. :)
One hour is pretty fast, Chris. I know people who've taken a day or more to do it the first time.
Your husband made tha? That's really cool!
very cool indeed!
Rebecca - please tell Carla to NOT threaten her lovable beagle with it either! :)
aha - a puzzle. my dad is really into those sort of puzzles, the 3D ones with wood or metal. Cool.
Do what I did. Threaten to hang them on the clothesline by their toes. :)
