Being Thankful on November 16

River Trail in Mid-November

Yes, it’s cold, but the skies are bright and everything is covered with sparkly white frost. I dress for the weather and I thank God for the splendor of his winter creation.

He gives snow like wool;
he scatters hoarfrost like ashes.
He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs;
who can stand before his cold?

(Psalm 147:16-17 ESV)

This is the same spot on the river trail that I photographed in late September. Both seasons are beautiful, aren’t they?

What are you thankful for?

Update

  • threegirldad is thankful for “family and friends who made November 16 a truly happy birthday.” And belated birthday greetings from me to threegirldad.

I’m celebrating good gifts from God during the month of November and hoping you’ll be thankful for your good gifts, too. Here’s how you can join in the thanksgiving and even, perhaps, get something material from it. If you’ve posted something you’ve posted something you’ve expected me to include and you don’t see it on the list, please let me know. I do miss things sometimes.

I love this scripture!
We were blanketed with an additional foot of snow last night...
So beautiful this morning.

Thank you for including me in your thankful links.
