Being Thankful on November 2
Today I am thankful for the Lord’s supper, in which we remember Christ’s sacrificial death, look forward to his glorious return, and also meet him in the present.
- Tulipgirl has another list of things she’s thankful for.
- Dorothy is thankful for hymn writers who “record the tenets of our faith in such beautiful words that clearly convey the depth of meaning of what has been done for us through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross.”
- Kim in Ontario is thankful for good friends.
Updates:
- Suzanne is thankful for the camera. Can I say, “me too”?
- Kim of Hiraeth thanks God for several Sunday blessings.
- Today is the day to be thankful for cameras. Willow is thankful for hers.
- Juanita is thankful for the many blessings from God her family has experienced over the past month.
- Connie is thankful for the freedom and ability to gather with other believers.
What are you thankful for?
I’m celebrating good gifts from God during the month of November and hoping you’ll be thankful for your good gifts, too. Here’s how you can join in the thanksgiving and even, perhaps, get something material from it.
