Being Thankful on November 25

I’m thankful for the family pets. They are interesting and fun and because of them, I never come home to an empty house.

And yes, the dog gets me walking outdoors almost every day, even when it’s very cold.

Not to mention that they are all excellent snugglers. (I couldn’t have said that a month ago before the last fish died.)

Updates

  • Juanita is thankful for family.

What are you thankful for?

I’m celebrating good gifts from God during the month of November and hoping you’ll be thankful for your good gifts, too. Here’s how you can join in the thanksgiving and even, perhaps, get something material from it. If you’ve posted something you’ve posted something you’ve expected me to include and you don’t see it on the list, please let me know. It’s a lot to keep track of and I do miss things sometimes.

I try to be thankful for my pets. My cat loves to jump on my chest at 5:00 a.m., demanding to be fed, and when I leave the bathroom door open, the dog will shred the contents of the garbage and then have tummy pain for the rest of the night. She's old now, 12 years old.

What a sweet old dog! And you know that I know a sweet old dog when I see one!

I try to be thankful for my pets.

You can always be thankful that they give you good stories to tell. :)

She's really not that old, Dorothy. Seven, I think. That photo makes her face look much whiter than it really is.

And today on our walk, she was not all that sweet! :)
