My Desktop Photo 21: Upper Laberge Village

The leaves are just beginning to turn, so I’ve decided to use a fall photo on my desktop. This was taken in the village of Upper Laberge. I guess you’d call Upper Laberge a ghost town. No one lives there now, but I think it’s used occasionally as a fish camp.
Here are three photos from the Yukon Archives taken in Upper Laberge way back in 1900.

That is a really cool picture. I am tempted to "borrow" it.
Feel free to borrow. :)
Pretty as a picture! Your son is an artist with a camera.
I can't believe you have leaves turning. We are still in full summer mode. It is 97 today, sunny and dry. It is a beautiful picture, though.
We are not as far along as things were in this photo. But yes, some leaves are beginning to turn. :)
