Thanksgiving 23
Monday, November 23, 2009 at 7:31PM
I’m thankful that God’s faithfulness in the past helps me trust him for my future.
What are you thankful for today?
- Elle is thankful for women of God who serve.
- Connie is “thankful to God for material blessings.
- Kim is thankful for simple pleasures.
- Ann is thankful for the Christian bookshop in her town.
- Lisa is thankful for unexpected reading time.
- Dorothy is thankful for Christ’s all-sufficient grace and power.
- Jodi is thankful for a fun morning and more.
- Kim is thankful for “the miracles but also for His daily mercies, His constant care, His providential and perfect will in my life and that of my family. I thank Him that He ever lives to make intercession for me! I’m so thankful that He has given me the gift of faith!”
- Rosemary is thankful for laughter.
- Jenn is thankful for her new hair.
- Rachel is thankful for the voices of her children singing in the shower.
- Lisa catches up by listing a bunch of blessings.
- Kristina is thankful for Veggie Tales.
- Julie is thankful for a husband who picks up the slack.
Here are three ways you can join in the thanksgiving.
- Mention something you’re thankful for in the comments here and I’ll included it in one of my thanksgiving posts, or
- Email me to tell me what you’re thankful for and I’ll include it in a post, or
- Post your thankful thought(s) on your own blog, send me the link(s), and I’ll link to your post(s). If you plan to make your thanksgiving posts daily during the month, let me know that and you won’t need to send me daily links.
If you’ve got a thanksgiving post and I missed it, please let me know so I can add your link.

Its so faith-building to go through a time of trial relying on God, isn't it! Sometimes now, I almost wish for the times of trial because of that experience of God's faithfulness. I said "almost."
I am thankful for past trials, but I'm not sure I've reached a place of even "almost" wishing for times of trials again. I would really just like to have the faith-building exercise without them. :)
