I "reminded" my students first thing today that they had a history test covering the last three chapters ( they just finished a 9 week exam recently). They looked shocked for a couple of minutes, and one was surreptitously getting her history book out, before it dawned on them that I was fooling. I will tell them tomorrow about the volcano prank.
