Pffft

Yesterday we had no cell phone or internet for much of the day. And when I sat down to blog this afternoon, the electricity went out and with it went my wireless signal. It’s back now, but I must move on to other things.

There are a couple of new developments in the household that I want to tell you about but that will have to wait until I have time and signal simultaneously.

I also have enough links collected for another Round the Sphere post, and you can expect a book review soon, too.

Hints? Hints? You are evil, you know that don't you? Heheheh.

Being without the computer is an inconvenience. I'm using Tom's right now while mine is in the shop.

Here's to time and a signal at the same time! : D

I was in the middle of a videoconference when the power bumped - when I got back on we had a short chat about some of the challenges of living in the Yukon :) Then I went to the airport and found that all the jets coming in were unable to leave because their communications system to the Outside was dead too so they were unable to file flight plans. That's much more than an inconvenience, especially for the folks who missed connections because of it (reminder to self - always buy good travel insurance!).

I've never really thought about my flight insurance much....but maybe I'll have to start paying a little more attention.
