There will be snow in the new heavens and new earth and it will be even more beautiful than this, because this is snow from a cursed world.

I suppose some of you think that snow itself is part of the curse. You would be wrong.

wow! Love it!

I'm not a big fan of cold but I AM a big fan of snow and winter landscapes. That's beautiful!

I think snow is one of the most amazing things God has given us--to think that that gorgeous scene was created by individual snowflakes and that each is unique! It's a beautiful illustration of God's creativity and His awesome power.

I've never once in my life ever thought about snow in heaven but of course, you're right! Thanks for expanding my view of heaven and reminding me of how great is our God!!

I'm pretty sure it will never get to -30 on the new earth.

And while we're speculating, I will admit that the amount of snow I had in my driveway last year might be part of the curse.

I agree that snow itself is not a curse. It reflects the beauty of God in creation! But watching one's husband set off to work in heavy snow...now that's a curse. And of course, as you said, Rebecca, shoveling copious amounts of it out of the driveway.

"I have been riding all the way today through the pure white snow, and that verse has been in my mind all the time, 'Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.'"

Great quote, John. Another reason why snow on the earth is a good thing.
