Sunday's Hymn
May the Mind of Christ, My Savior
May the mind of Christ, my Savior,
Live in me from day to day,
By His love and power controlling
All I do and say.May the Word of God dwell richly
In my heart from hour to hour,
So that all may see I triumph
Only through His power.May the peace of God my Father
Rule my life in everything,
That I may be calm to comfort
Sick and sorrowing.May the love of Jesus fill me
As the waters fill the sea;
Him exalting, self abasing,
This is victory.May I run the race before me,
Strong and brave to face the foe,
Looking only unto Jesus
As I onward go.May His beauty rest upon me,
As I seek the lost to win,
And may they forget the channel,
Seeing only Him.—Kate Wilkinson

There is such a prayerful beauty to the words of this one! May this prayer be mine too as I focus on walking ever more faithfully with Him.
I just love this hymn! We don't sing it often enough at my church.
Oh, I love this hymn! I don't think I've ever heard it before. If so, I don't remember it.
I don't think I've ever heard it before.
It was a really common hymn in the Christian circles I grew up in and in the church I'm in now we sing it occasionally.
I think it's widespread popularity may have suffered because of its association with the Keswick movement.
For a long time, your posts on Sunday's hymns have inspired me. I've been doing this for a while now. Hope others may enjoy it.
