November of Thanksgiving 10
I have my house more-or-less back in order after the big paint project. It’s in good enough order that I can once again enjoy it, anyway. It seems like a good day to thank God for my home, doesn’t it?
I’m thankful that my home is warm when it gets cold. It wasn’t always like this, but improvements over the years—new windows, new furnace, more insulation in the walls—have made it cozy and draft-free when the temperature drops. I’m thankful that my heavenly Father provided those things for me.
I’m thankful, too, that my home has lots of natural light. There are lots of windows to let the light in, and that’s importantwhen the days get shorter and the sun’s angle lower. I think God for all of the windows in my house.
I’m thankful that I have a warm, light-filled home.

I’ll be back this evening to add any more thanksgiving posts I find (or that you point me to). As more people participate, it gets more likely that I’ll make mistakes in my posting, so if I miss your post or mess up a link, please tell me. And remember, if you miss a day or two, you’ll need to give me a heads up on your next thanksgiving post.
Do you want to participate, too? You’ll find instructions here for the ways both bloggers and nonbloggers can join in the thanksgiving.

I think any day is a good day to thank God for one's home!
Oh, the blessing of a warm, light-filled, cozy home! I'm glad that you have such a home to keep you toasty and comfortable during your long winter months.
Amen to that Rebecca--I am a home body and love my home! It has been quite cold here in De this Nov. and I have been enjoying the fireplace. Home--what a wonderful place to be until we get to our REAL home.
Hi Rebecca, I missed a day or two but have tried to get back into the posting schedule. I need both the discipline and the practice. I've got a post up for today and posts scheduled for the next three days. Thanks.
