November of Thanksgiving 14
I’m thankful for hymns. I’m thankful for them for lots of reasons, but right now I’m thinking about how they tie us to believers throughout history.
Others thanking God today:
- Diane is thankful for her husband.
- Trisha is thankful for her little helpers.
- Joan is thankful for God’s grace.
- Becky is thankful for the Holy Spirit and more.
- Lisa is thankful for cemeteries.
- Rosemary is thankful for the steadfast love of the Lord.
- Persis is thankful for the Lord’s supper.
- Connie is thankful for food.
- Elle is thankful for the company of friends.
- Becky is thankful for the Lord’s Day.
- Dorothy is thankful for good friends.
- Kim (Hiraeth) is thankful that “that I live in a country in which I can still gather together with other believers to worship the Living God without fear.”
- Sandra is thankful that she can kneel before the throne of God.
- Lindsay is thankful for music.
- Aadel is thankful for the power of God in the service of Christ.
What are you thankful for today?
Do you want to participate, too? You’ll find instructions here for the ways both bloggers and nonbloggers can join in the thanksgiving.
As more people participate, it gets more likely that I’ll make mistakes in my posting, so if I miss your post or mess up a link, please tell me. And remember, if you miss a day or two, you’ll need to give me a heads up on your next thanksgiving post.

I love that Rebecca - What a sweet thought! And we'll all get to sing them together in "real time" someday! Hallelujah!

I'm thankful for hymns too! I can still remember ones I learned as a little girl in the church I grew up in!
