November of Thanksgiving 17
Today it’s cold and a little blizzardy. I’m thankful for my trusty vehicle and my snow tires. I’m thankful for the opportunity and ability to shovel some snow, which is one of the outdoor jobs that I really like to do. Especially at the beginning of winter.
Others thanking God today:
- Diane is thankful that she can “come boldy before His throne to plead for the souls of all of my children and grandchildren.”
- Trisha is thankful for “for the truth found only in His Word and for the privilege of speaking it to myself and others all day long.
- Becky is thankful “because we can treasure God in all our traditions.”
- Lisa is thankful for things she didn’t get.
- Kim (The Upward Call) is thankful for an evening of down time.
- Amy in Peru is thankful for extra sleep…and more.
- Elle is thankful for an egg crate cushion.
- Melissa is thankful for words.
- Becky is thankful for Awana.
- Kim (Hiraeth) is thankful for the privilege of prayer.
- Aadel is thankful for family worship.
- Joan is thankful for cozy nights.
- Dorothy is thankful for hymns and hymn writers.
- Lindsay is thankful that today has far exceeded her expectations.
- Jen is thankful for snow.
- Victoria is thankful for God’s discipline and correction.
- Pam is thankful for a good vacation for her son and his wife.
- Laura is thankful for friends who make her think.
What are you thankful for today?
I’ll be back later this evening to add any more thanksgiving posts I find (or that you point me to). As more people participate, it gets more likely that I’ll make mistakes in my posting, so if I miss your post or mess up a link, please tell me. And remember, if you miss a day or two, you’ll need to give me a heads up on your next thanksgiving post.
Do you want to participate, too? You’ll find instructions here for the ways both bloggers and nonbloggers can join in the thanksgiving.
