Sunday's Hymn
Today was the annual(?) languages Sunday at my church. On this Sunday, the choir learns hymns (one verse) in the various mother tongues (seven of them) represented in the congregation. Last year we did this on Pentecost Sunday, but we were unable to do it on that Sunday this year, so we did it today.
Here’s what we sang in Tagalog.
Can you guess the hymn? Here it is in English done by the Parsons Four Quartet.

May His grace abound as we walk under His sun.
What a great song. 20th century gospel songs get (and often deserve) a bad rap, but this one is just excellent. 20+ years ago, at the Lutheran Bible school I attended, we used to open classes with a song. This one was especially popular, partly because it was long and delayed the lecture, but also because it was just fun to sing. Great memories!
Thanks Becky. I've added your link to the list.
David,
This seems to be a favorite of quite a few men I know. I think it's because they get to do the fun part.
This one was chosen by a recent Filipino immigrant, so apparently they like it in the Phillipines, too.
