Oh my... mine said I wrote like H.P. Lovecraft, who is apparently a writer of horror books of some kind... not sure what that means.

I think that the last time I did something like this--analyzing the blog or something--I got the same answer as Kim in On. And today? H.P. Lovecraft. Scary.

Here's a guffaw: they tell me that I write like Stephen King. What?

I'd laugh, except that I got David Foster Wallace, and (never having read him) I don't know whether that's good or bad.

Yes, Kim, Lovecraft was a seminal horror writer - according to Stephen King, the most important one of the 20th century. If you want to get a sense of his writing, try reading "The Colour Out of Space." It's not gory or anything, but Lovecraft had a particular skill at setting the mood with description. Usually creepy, of course.

Well, I went back to my blog and found an excerpt from B.B. Warfield that I had on my blog, and it said that B.B. wrote like H.P. Lovecraft. Now, B.B. is probably rolling over in his grave.

I must admit that I am laughing, Rebecca! But supposedly I write like Stephen King so there's some more laughs there too.

I got JK Rowling. From small beginnings (a.k.a. my blog) I could be heading for big things!! LOL!!
