Round the Sphere Again: Lots of Fur Balls

Puppet Quiz
“All right Jim Henson fans, let’s see how well you know your monsters. Tell us whether each character appeared primarily on The Muppet Show, Sesame Street or Fraggle Rock.” (mental_floss Blog)

How did you do?

Kitty Corner
When my kids were young, our library had a resident cat. That was before someone complained that they were too allergic to cats to use the public library and Ariel the library cat got sent to live elsewhere.

Library cats, it seems, are fairly common, and so are bookstore cats. (mental_floss Blog, again.) Does your library or bookstore have a cat?

Update, January 13: Still more bookstore cats.

The library did not, but the music studio where my daughter took voice lessons did. Co-incidentally, the studio was across the street from the library.

I got 7 out of 10 of the monsters right. All the Sesame Street ones came easily but I guess I don't have the Muppets and the Fraggle Rock crowd down so well.

I got 80% of the Muppets right.

Our library doesn't have a kitty but our UPS store has a Golden Retriever!

I've always wanted to open a calligraphy/fine stationary shop and Reformed reading room. It would definitely have a cat.

When I was in college our library on campus had a cat.

I only got 50% on the monsters. I watched all three shows back in the day, but the Sesame Street ones were the only ones I got all right. I do have to say, though, they picked pretty obscure monsters for this quiz. :)

Now that would be a fun place to visit!

And I got 7/10 on the muppet quiz, in case you were wondering.
