Thankful Thursday

I’m so thankful that I’m finally beginning to feel normal. I’ve had nearly 3 weeks of feeling either just plain sick or weak and tired. I am so thankful to be back in the land of the living. I’m thankful that I am beginning to get everything back in order, although it will be a while before I’m all caught up.

I am thankful that God helps me when I become discouraged, reminding me that he is there working in everything for my good and his glory.

I am thankful, still, for my new granddaughter. She’s been the brightest spot in my life during these weeks of trial.

I’m thankful for sunshine to brighten things up.

Throughout this year I’m planning to post a few thoughts of thanksgiving each Thursday along with Kim at the Upward Call and others.

Good to hear you're feeling better. Have you ever had a reaction like that before? My son had one when he was a baby, and he was sick for a long time.

Nope, never had any sort of reaction to penicillin drugs. I certainly will never take one again!

I'm hearing more and more from people who had a similar reaction and were sick for a long time, too. Kind of like having a bad case of the flu or something. It's too bad when that happens to babies.
