  • Isaiah 53:8
    By oppression and judgment he was taken away;
    and as for his generation, who considered
    that he was cut off out of the land of the living,
    stricken for the transgression of my people?
  • Matthew 1:21
    She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
  • John 10:11, 15, 16, 26-29
    I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
    …just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.
    And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.)
    but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
  • John 17:9
    I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.
  • Hebrews 2:13

    And again,

    “I will put my trust in him.”

    And again,

    “Behold, I and the children God has given me.”
