That's interesting. I knew there was such a thing as hymn meter and changing tunes, but I've never read that detailed an explanation.

Our late pastor was born in Ireland. His favorite hymn was "I Cannot Tell," which is sung to "Londonderry Air" (Danny Boy). Which is not, by the way, easy to sing, especially at an early morning communion service. :)
