Heidelberg Catechism

Question 22. What, then, must a Christian believe?

Answer: All things promised us in the gospel, (a) which the articles of our catholic and undoubted Christian faith briefly teach us.

    • Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you maybelieve that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

          Matthew 28:19

    Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit … .

    I did 6 years of Bible College and 3 years of Seminary and never heard of the Heidelberg Catechism until I left the Baptist ranks that I was in and joined a Reformed Baptist Church. It is a blessing.
