Question 22. What, then, must a Christian believe?
Answer: All things promised us in the gospel, (a) which the articles of our catholic and undoubted Christian faith briefly teach us.

Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you maybelieve that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit … .

I did 6 years of Bible College and 3 years of Seminary and never heard of the Heidelberg Catechism until I left the Baptist ranks that I was in and joined a Reformed Baptist Church. It is a blessing.
