Since it’s never too soon to start telling our children about God and his ways, I posted a short list of picture books teaching sound theology at Out of the Ordinary.

"A Faith To Grow On" by John MacArthur has been a favorite with my grandchildren. Its out of print but available on Amazon -new or used. Another favorite of my grandsons is Ken Ham's "Answer Book for Kids" Volumes 1-6. They loved the books. Also available on Amazon.
