This Month's Upcoming Recipe Round Up
This month’s recipe round up will be hosted by Karen of Simply A Musing Blog.
The category is desserts.
The date is June 14.
Hostess Karen gives all the details here.
So start thinking about what you’ll bring to the dessert potluck. High fat, low fat, and everything in between. Don’t forget to look around for other posted dessert recipes as well, since Karen reminds us:
Feel free to send links to recipes you have seen on someone else’s blog as well - we are all about getting the goods back out to you, the people.
As far as I know, there has been no hostess or category designated for July’s Recipe Round-Up, and since I’m the one who started this whole thing going, and have a vested interest, then, in seeing it continue, I’m going to ask for volunteers here and now. Any takers? You can name your own category. So far, there have been Quick Supper Fixin’s, Appetizers, and Desserts.

How about Summer Salads for July? I'd be happy to host it!
Summer salads would be great, and it's first come first served on the hosting thing, so I guess you are it!
OK. :)
How about September: Favorite Football Watching Foods/Snacks
OR
September: Soups!
?
Are you volunteering to host for us, Leslie? :)
Sure! I'll host in September. Which theme do you prefer? Soups and Stews or Football-Watching Dishes? That last one may fall under appetizers, and we've already done that one. What do you think?
You do have a point about the football treats...they may be really close to appetizers, although I'd label them "snacks". Why don't we go with soups and stews? Although I have no real objection to the other one, either.
Thanks for hosting.
Now we just need to get an August host and we're all set for the next few months.
How about grilling out recipes for August's theme?
I've already hosted, so I'll let someone else have the honors. Grilling is just a suggestion, mostly because we rarely go beyond hamburger and hot dogs and steak when we grill out. I'd love some new ideas. . .even though Tom is perfectly happy with hamburger and hot dogs and steak with the occasional bbq chicken. . .
Barbecue or gilling recipes sounds great for August. Now we just have to find someone to host it. :)
I'll be a bit too busy in August, but how about in November I'll do Special Holiday Recipes?
Hi Sherry,
That sounds great. November is still open, and I'll put your name down.
