From Whence the Steaks Came

Oldest daughter wants me to post a photo of her with the moose.

She’s been shocking her Vancouver friends with photos of cutting it up. She thought they’d be interested to see how it’s done, but at least one was offended by such a murderous act. Another vegetarian feminist, I suspect.

Oh my son would have loved to be on that hunt. He's busy making deer jerky (from the deer he killed on his bow hunting trip) for his next hunting trip in 2 weeks..

My husband comes from a family of butchers....not a lot of sympathy for vegetarians (or feminists for that matter :)

I've heard that moose steak is fantastic - I've had bison but not moose.
