Gas Up: August 28
I see new snow in the mountain tops, so summer is over. That means this will be the last Gas Up post. Next week I hope to get back to regular season blogging, including making my way back to the Romans 8 study I barely started last spring and then dropped for the summer.
The price of my gas this week is that same as last week and the week before, but this week I have a photo! Yep, gas costs me $1.399 a litre, four cents more per litre than when this whole gas price exercise started back in May.
Notice all the puddles in the photo? This has been The Summer of the Constant Rain, and this past week has been the most rainy yet, I’d say. All those outdoor painting projects I had on my list? I only got about half of them done. I’m still hoping for enough good weather to fit a couple more projects in.
Okay, back to gas prices: The price Dorothy pays for gas went down two cents this week.
So what about your gas prices? Up, down or the same this week?
- threegirldad reports that the price of gas went up 20¢ overnight in his neck of the praires.
Wednesday night: $3.35
Does that forehead slap mean he didn’t fill up on Wednesday night?
Thursday morning: $3.59
[forehead slap] Candy’s gas is down to $3.69.
Kim in On is paying $1.24 - $1.26 per litre.
I’m hoping it stays down until we get our daughter moved into school!!
- Karen says:
$3.77 was gas price today at ARCO in Monrovia, Ca.

Nary a puddle the whole summer here. It is supposed to be 99 degrees today, and has been in upper 90s for a few weeks. Sigh. What I would give for a little rain.
