November of Thanksgiving 25
I‘m hoping that you’ll all remember that these daily thanksgiving posts don’t stop after American Thanksgiving Day, but go on through the entire month of November. If you can spare the time, please keep posting your thanksgiving.
As many of you are busy enjoying family and turkey, I’m thankful that I have enough. In so many ways, God has provided enough (and more) for me. My needs have been met by God’s providence and I thank him for it.
And now a little request: If you’ve come by to read through the thanksgiving posts, I know that right now you have enough time to pray for the Downes family. Martin Downes writes one of my favorite blogs, Against Heresies. Here’s his post from today:
Yesterday our youngest daughter Kezia (9) went for an MRI scan. The doctors discovered a large brain tumor, which is pressing on the pituitary gland. Kezia is currently in hospital in Wrexham and will be transferred today to Alder Hey children’s hospital in Liverpool where the neurosurgeons will assess her and operate.
Please pray for Kezia and the rest of the family.
